A couple of weeks ago I bought my wife a new toy to replace her Rincon. This past weekend we took it on a short ride to kinda get a feel for it. Her only complain was the steering on the road at lower speeds to sensitive.
I got to spend a little time on her grizzly yesterday.(That's all she would let me...lol) All I can say is wow speed has to be at least almost 1.5 times as fast as my Rinny. Handling I never really thought that my Rinny handled hard until this, I can almost drive with one hand now.
Now for the negative things that I noticed. I was playing on some Whoops and noticed that the front end of the quad seems heavier than the rear, and I don't have the winch or box on the front. When I started to slow from 60mph I notice that the quad would almost feel squirrelly. I'm hoping that by changing tires some of that feeling will disappear.
That's all that I really noticed so far, I'll have more next week as I'm taking it to Wayne National Forest for a guys only ride with my uncle and some other people.

Congrats on the new wheeler and keep us posted with how it performs. If you decide to get rid of the xtra weight in the front let Nascar know cuz he needs more on the cat. A heavy front end will be a big help when climbing hills.

I dont know if that is negative or not about the bike. I think at 60mph any of them is going to be squirrelly and asking for road rash. I guess its all to the eyes of the beholder.

I won't argue that at all Bushog. It did however feel fine at 60, it wasn't until I had let off the gas and started to slow down to below 35 that I noticed it getting squirrelly. My wife had also complained that on the road it was squirrelly, and she was not going over 20. I plan to play with it more in the near future.

Yes Nascar that is the one with power steering.
The purchase of a new set of rims and Big Horns are in future. I found out that her old Maxxis 8-Spokes don't fit the new Grizzly's due to the redesign of the disk brakes.
Just out of curiosity what's your opinion of tire size. Do we stick with the stock size, or go up to a 26" Big Horn? I've never had a belt drive quad and after pricing a Yamaha belt ($179), I don't want to have to replace it anytime soon.

Bascomjohn, you need to remember that the bighorns are ture to there size, If it says 25 than it is a 25. Unlike other tires they are under the size it says it is. The 25 bighorn is like a 26 in any other brand. So i would go with the 25 Bighorns. JMO

BD according to the service person at the dealership if the power steering fails on the trail it will operate just like a normal wheeler. The power steering is more of an electrical servo motor assist.
Bama no new pictures yet. Where I was riding last weekend is not 100% legal or illegal so I don't document it with pictures when I ride there.

We put the 26" Horns on dad's 800 Outlander and it came with 26" Carlisle on it and the Horns are a little taller. Enough that after a days ride his trip meter is a couple miles off compared to mine. My dad has a 04 Grizz with 3900 miles on it and he has never put a belt on. He has the 25" Big Horns on it. My buddy has a 04 Grizzly with 6000 miles on it and it too has never had a belt. It may very well need one but it don't slip or make any noises or anything so he hasn't touched it.

Thanks for the input. The 25 " were the way we were leaning, but I kinda like the extra width of the 26". An added plus with the 25" is I get her old 26".
